        Bell schedules

Every active schedule runs. Use separate schedules for e.g. “Regular day” and “Exam week” and switch them on or off. Bells never ring on holidays.

          Backup & restore

A backup is one zip file with users, speakers, groups, bell schedules, holidays, settings, the activity log, every audio file in the library, the HTTPS certificate and session key, and a copy of the application itself for rebuilding a server from scratch.

          Download backup

Save the current system to a zip file on this computer.

The file includes speaker passwords, user password hashes, the HTTPS private key and the session key. Anyone who has it can impersonate this server. Store it somewhere safe.

          Restore from backup

Replaces all data on this system with the contents of the backup. Audio that is playing is stopped and everyone is logged out. A restored certificate or session key takes effect after the service is restarted. The application code is not changed.
